Over 60 bird species have been recorded, including common residents like Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Australian Magpies, and Rainbow Lorikeets, as well as Pacific black ducks in aquatic areas and is also the habitat for aquatic insects, frogs, and other wetland-dependent species.
The park is recognized for its rich biodiversity, with specific areas like York’s Hollow serving as significant breeding grounds and sanctuaries for birdlife.
