Let's protect what is good

Our sole mission & purpose is to stop the building of stadiums in Victoria Park/Barrambin. We will stop this madness and  preserve the park for the Seventh Generation to Come. This can be achieved through community awareness and information campaigns.

With the Strength in Numbers the madness of building stadiums at Victoria Park will be stopped.

Brisbane City developed a masterplan at a cost of $ 30 million which makes Victoria Park a world -class park and consequently abandoned it.

We want the Masterplan implemented in full.  Please find full information of the masterplan in his link:  Masterplan

Green spaces for all

Green inner-city green spaces improve physical and mental health by reducing stress, increasing physical activity, improving sleep, and fostering social interaction.

Trees also cool cities and mitigate climate change. The Trees are the Olympic medallists: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Sacred Land

The Turrbal and Yuggera people are the Traditional Custodians of Barrambin, a site of deep cultural and spiritual significance for the Yuggera and Turrbal peoples of Brisbane, also known as Meanjin. Barrambin was historically a vital meeting and gathering place for the Yuggera, a place for hunting, gathering, and corroborees, and remains tied to their stories and traditions.

Let’s respect the traditional owners of Barrambin

Animal Habitat

Over 60 bird species have been recorded, including common residents like Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Australian Magpies, and Rainbow Lorikeets, as well as Pacific black ducks in aquatic areas and is also the habitat for aquatic insects, frogs, and other wetland-dependent species.

The park is recognized for its rich biodiversity, with specific areas like York’s Hollow serving as significant breeding grounds and sanctuaries for birdlife.
